Once again "my" small-ad-portal "ebay-Kleinanzeigen" ... I found an ad "Carl Zeiss Jena 15512 leicaM7 teleskop". Interesting ;-)
Sure I had to check this ad ;-) and - yes: some "Zeiss"-telescope-parts in wrecked state: an old Zeiss-1 mount, totally manky. A "Telementor"-stand and a wooden box with an obviously
nearly complet "Telementor" in it. Then a total scretched and dented tube, what had lost most of its paint, so that the redbrown old groundcoat was visible. Hmmh ... may it be, that this wrecked
tube could be a long searched 80/1200 lenstube from "Zeiss"? Pulsating! Problem: Site - Hamburg. Me: Stuttgart: Seller: "only selfcollecting". Me: Shit! Nevertheless I asked the seller, whether it would be possible th send only the wrecked redbrwon lenstube. He asked for a bid and i made my offer (only for the lenstube). Seller replyed with a very fair offer for all the things. But my problem: I needed the shipping, because Stuttgart - Hamburg are 700km distance. Seller: "We can do it, I´ll look after a transport". Me: Fine!. So I transfered the money to his bank-account - in trust on the seller - knowing the risk of loosing this money, should the seller be a fraud. But: he wasn´t a fraud, he was a very fair and honest guy!. But I asked myself: how he will organize the transport? Only the Zeiss-I-mount had 12/13kg weight; the lenstube nearly 10 Kilos and the complete Telementor in it´s wooden box - less 15 Kilos. Okay, knowing the risk I started to wait. Seesaw "whatsapping". And hoping for a happy end. After some days the seller told me, that a friend of him would drive to Rottweil (a small town in the south of Stuttgart) and he could deliver the things. Well! He asked me for a little more money for the delivering; no prob - I gave him 50€s extra - after delivering. And - real - on Sunday, 18.04th - the things are on it´s way and came in in the early evening (~18:00). Great! While I unloaded the tools, I crushed my mobile phone ... it fell down and the display splittet - fuck ! :-( Now I´m was extrem curious about the state of these Zeiss-tools... and I saw: there came up many work ... cleaning, refurbishing and all this.
